History: Lived on Alderaan with two brothers who died when the planet was destroyed, and he and his father barely escaped because his father had a vision(his mother was working with the Rebellion). Later, a few weeks before the Battle of Hoth, they were tractored in by the newly completed Super class Star Destroyer Executer, which had the Emperor aboard. While they were being tractored in, Lancer's father had another horrible vision, so he told Lancer about the Force and that both Lancer's father and his mother had been Jedi Masters. When they were aboard the Executer, Lancer's father's vision came true, and Lancer was forced to watch as the Emperor personally executed his father. Before his father was dead, Lancer remembered what his father had told him about the Force, but the only example he had for using the Force was the Emperor. He drew on his anger as the Emperor was doing and sent out a powerful burst of Force Lightning out, killing his guards. The Emperor was too busy finishing Lancer's father off to do anything about it, so Lancer escaped in a Lambda class shuttle.
Lancer was hunted by the Empire for years, and while on the run he learned many things. He finished his education himself and taught himself several languages, and he generally learned how to act, how to avoid attention, how to disguise oneself, and how to remain undetected. He also learned quite a bit about self-defense and first-aid, and managed to keep from being captured or killed. He moved to a different planet and assumed a different alias almost every three weeks, but finally one bounty hunter found him on Duro and managed to plant a tracer on his ship.
Lancer had recieved a transmission from his mother telling him to meet her on Tatooine, and he unwittingly led the Imperials to his mother, who was shot down(her body was never recovered) and Lancer spent the next two years searching for her. His hatred increased and he began to hate himself, but he was counseled by a Jedi Master on Dagobah, and soon his self-loathing and hatred turned into remorse and a desire to redeem himself. He then got yet another new identity and went to Coruscant, the center of the Empire, where he lived and avoided detection until the liberation of Coruscant, which happened when he was twenty. About a year afterwards he heard of the new Jedi Order, and he went first to Ord Mantell, then to Dantooine, and finally to Taris, where he was trained by the Jedi Knight Sucasa. Lancer lived on Taris for a while, but then went to Tatooine and got a job with Yuka Laka, who was killed before Lancer could start working. Lancer then was given a cantina on Coruscant, which he owned and ran for a while. After that, he was given a great opportunity by Jedi Master Axem Steel, who offered him the position of second in command of the New Jedi Republic. Lancer worked hard for the NJR, recruiting two planets, Dorin and Bilbringi. Unfortunatly, he attracted the attention of the then-Sith Knight Malas, who attacked and killed the Jedi Knight in the Yavin IV Temple. But the tale of Lancer was not yet at an end. The Force had other plans, and somehow, Lancer was brought back to life.
Soon after his reappearance, he was appointed to the Jedi Council as the Jedi Historian, which came with the promotion to Master. In a confusing set of events, he lost, regained, lost, and regained the position on the Jedi Council, but he eventually grew tired of the life of an active Jedi and went to the moon of Yavin IV, where he spent much time meditating and training many Padawans. Yet even there, in that tranquil scene, Lancer grew dissatisfied, and delved deeper and deeper inside the mystery that was the Force, sometimes spending weeks and even months deep in meditation. But something awakened him from this cycle, and he went back to the Jedi Temple on the planet. Here, in the very same place he had fallen to Malas, he fought against two Dark-Siders, and for a moment he felt as if he would fall once again. But during his time meditating Lancer had grown stronger, much stronger, and he killed the two with little difficulty. And finally, fearing that the Sith had taken over the galaxy, he began taking apprentices again, and beamed several messages to Coruscant. Soon, he learned that he had once again been voted to the Jedi Council, and he was given the position of Headmaster of the Yavin IV Temple(If you change your mind about this, K1ddy, take this part off).
