Phaeda- Legacy of Agony (Continued from GT))

[The Unknown Boy]

He stared through the boy, anger swelling within him. With another snarl, he brought the back of his hand across the boy's face.

"Do not look upon me without my permission. Ever."

He turned back around to the viewport, looking down onto Phaeda's single, yellow ocean. The planet’s shaping was near completion, and the ocean was already reverting back to its normal color. A shame, the shapers couldn’t generate the ocean’s color permanently. He enjoyed the ocean as it was. It reminded him of when he had forced the slave drivers, who had forced the Yuuzhan Vong to “repair” Ithor, to throw their body into a pit of sulfur. A smile curled at the edge of his lips. He turned back to Ishtar.

“Answer the question, warrior. What purpose does he serve me?”

"I don't know why don't you find out for yourself? Have fun."

With that he turned around and exited the room and headed towards his coralskipper.
Ishtar Lorana



The hand came across his face like a hot poker. It sent th boy sprawling to the floor. Whatever he had on the hand cut him a deep gash going from right under his eye down to his chin. Blood seeped out, hot and sticky. It hurt but he didnt cry as he stood and lowered his head.

"yes warmaster.. sir.."

He rashed out taking a hand to his face andpulling back a staing hand filled with blood. It wasgoing to be a deep scar.



The Yuuzhan Vong didn't have time to turn around before Shendo was reaching for two small pouches strapped to his belt. With a lightning fast agility, he threw a purplish jelly and a small, palm-size bug with razor-like wings. The jelly went for his feet, attaching itself with an irresistible force, while the bug flew, with the speed of a blaster bolt, to the warrior's head.

"How dare you disgrace me, disgrace yourself!"




His eyes opened widly as he say the Warmaster move quickly. The globs of the steange stuff stopped Ishtar as he fell. The boy just stared and then looked back to the Warmaster. He didnt care if he got hit again.

" I do not understand why I am here.."





Don't you remember warmaster you're only second in command."

He turned around as his amphistaffs moved into his hands and became rigid as they sent a wave of acid at the warmaster he slightly grunted in pain,but he was able to perform the attack none the less.


Ishtar


Shendo Lah stood his ground, the acidic venom slamming against his vonduun-crab armor. The acid burned through the armor, and dripped onto his skin. The pain was exquisite. He closed his eyes, enjoying every second. Isthar, however, didn't get the chance to embrace the pain- only the death. The razor bug sliced through his head, killing him instantly.




The whole scene captivated the child as he watched the acid being shot foward. He thought what it would feel like and shook his head.

'What am I thinking?' He never thought like this before.

He opened his eyes just in time to see a strange bug-like creature tear threw the vongs head. Strange thinsg were trying to rip threw his mind. Smeting he might have knwon.. but it was strange. He smelt the blood as his own mingled in the air with the vongs. It was a shame but he didnt fel like questioning it. The boy was on his own in a room with the Warmaster.

"What was that?"

He whispered and then wondered what was going to happen..

The Yuuzhan Vong Warrior bowed in disgrace as he saw a fellow caste member viciously killed, but with good reason. He offered many thanks to Yun-Yammka, the Slayer, and God of War for his help in guiding him to this place without having suffered significant damage nor defeat that wouldn't have made this possible. Returning to his alarmingly colossal height, he'd find himself staring down the dup there out infront of him comprised of the Warmaster and the small boy. The thought of clothing himself for this engagement had escaped him since the Ooglith Masquer was stepped out of leaving himself with only the modest of cloth to hide some necessities.

The amphistaff coiled tightly around his right forearm and wrist stared upward at its host master before returning its gaze also to the other two. The bio-engineered weapon of choice for most Yuuzhang, save for him, was more than a tool but a friend and had saved him more than once just on the creature's natural instincts. He'd carry him forever, not willing to use the creature as a simple stick to be destroyed, no, it was far too valuable and so remained mostly coiled in that similar arrangement.

Warmaster, was there anything else you required?"

[The Bandit]

The Warmaster looked down upon his burnt chest. The wounds were minor, the armor having prevented most of the acid from breaking through. However, his cloak was dead, and the armor was useless. He gave a brief pray to Yun-Yammaka, thanking him for exposing the treachery. Whatever the warrior's reasons, he had displayed heresy and simple disrespect. Yun-Harla might have favored him for a time, but the Trickster goddess had refused to smile down upon him this time...

"How did you come across this... thing? The traitor spoke of him being Shamed, but all I see are the marks of an infidel."

[The Unknown Boy]

'Shamed one? what is he talking about?' Thought the boy as he put his hand to his face again. The wound was really hurting now, but he didnt cry. he would not cry. Instead he looked over to the vong that had brought him here.. hoping for an answer.
'
'I am at least not afarid..' he thought as he turned his head and looked back again onto the warmaster. Suddenly in that moment his head burned.. his eyes felt as if they were goign to be plucked out as he closed them.. The pain lasted only for a moment but when he opened them they wernt his eyes. They brown.. looked human yet held far more then anything.

'What is wrong with me? Only a few times ths has happened.. not like this.. this ...this pain..' As he thought this he let out a surge of power and accidently tore off part of ship. it was one of the only places to sit as it flew up and past the Warmaster in to the vong corpse.

[Thaed]

"Yaga? PHAHG!"

He'd throw in the direction of the warmaster, still doubting this judgement. The boy was one of the infidels, one of the "humans", there was no possible way to tell unless he had witnessed the birthing himself, but alas, he had not. He could only wonder in disbelief how his fortune had turned in error and what had caused it to do so. Whatever the reason, he had been wrong to bring the shamed one, despite him even knowing or not.

"There was no way of telling."

[The Bandit]

"Silence."

The command was spoken quietly, but had the force of a thud bug to back it up. Czulkang believed bringing the Shamed One here was a fault, he believed right. However, it could turn to be a gift from the gods.

"It's possible the traitor was lying. He was, after all, insane."

There was no way of knowing if the warrior had been insane, of course. But, he expected Czulkang to know better than to contradict him. He turned to regard the infidel. He imagined the human had no idea what was going on, what to expect. It would be right to kill him, then and there. But, something kept him from doing so. He returned his gaze to Czulkang.

"Here are your orders: You are to bring me another infidel. But, a Jeedai. Bring me a living, breathing Jeedai. We will finish what our forefathers began. We will shape the Jeedai. If that fails, we shall break him. And, if even that fails, we shall kill him. Go."

He turned back to the infidel.

"You are to be my pet, infidel. My familiar. You will do as I say. Understood?"

'A Jedi??' He thought only half paying attention at first. His brown noe eyes turned to regard the Warmaster.

"I am noone's pet..."

The moment he said those words the Boy knew he was in trouble. Yet he didn care. He was diffrent yes.. mabey that was why his past life was lost to him. The a thought occured as he hurried on.

"The one laying dead mentioned something about my father being a shamed one and my mother a human.. What am I? I have disfigurment on my body.. I don't remember them.. "

Ina quick movement the Boy removed his shirt. He had horriabl scars brazing his back and down his stomach. He had one small patch of skin on his lower back that was Grey.. Something noone had ever seen before.


"I cam willingly.. " He whispered as his hands tracked the scare on his stomcah. It looked like some of the scars on the vong.. but the bou just didnt understand.

[The Bandit]

The warmaster straightened his back, his lips curling in disgust. He motioned towards two guards standing near the door.

"Remove him."

The guards stepped forward, grabbing the creature by his shoulders, and dragging him out of the bridge.

[Thaed]

"Dwi."

With that, he'd turn and head back to his personal skipper.
