Name: Brook Antell
Race: Human
Age: 14
Rank: Hopeful
Alignment: Nuetral
Weapons: As of now, Brook carries no real weapons; spare her sharp tongue and wit.
Appearance: At first glance the 5ft 4 youth does not look like much, with slender legs that make her seem taller from a distance, and light blue eyes, full of innocence. First impressions are hardly right. Her hair is fiery red, with some strands almost seeming highlighted, darker than others. It frames a delicate face, cutting off just below her earlobes with bangs. Her blue eyes are quick to fill with either intense stubbornness or curiosity; both things that tend to get Brook into trouble. Her clothes cover the color pallet of brown black and beige, nothing fancy, merely comfortable clothing that tends to let her slip into the background. Brook’s complexion is moderate, showing she spends much time outside, a healthy tone, and not pasty white, and not inky dark.
History: An only child born on Dantooine, Brook spent most of her early years in the wilderness. Her parents were deeply involved in studying the flora and fauna of Brook’s home planet, so she tended to live away from the closest outpost, in or on the edge of the wilderness of Dantooine. Living in the wild allowed her to escape from being detected as a force user by Jedi, though Brook did not even know of her aptitude for the force. Her parents were simply negligent, past giving Brook a roof over her head, food and clothing, they ignored her. She left ‘home’ at the young age of 10 and caught a shuttle from Dantooine, to Corellia. Her parents had no idea she had left, and most likely would not have found out; spare that Brook left a note behind.
On Corellia Brook arrived a young, trusting, sheltered girl, naïve and ignorant. She didn’t stay that way for long. A regular in a cantina in the lower city, Brook quickly realized she wouldn’t survive for long the way she was. She learned not to trust people the hard way after being mugged left for dead in an alleyway not far from the Cantina she visited regularly. Little did she know she should have died that night, if not for the force? Brook learned to steal, and became quite good at it, paying her way through the next few years of life by pick-pocketing, though she would never purposely try to kill someone. A skill at eavesdropping, though she would never call it such, allowed Brook to find out what was going on in the world from others around her.
She has had incidents with both sides, Jedi and Sith, neither good. One late night Brook happened to be listening in on a conversation between a Sith Knight and a commoner. If she hadn’t blurted out her own opinion on the topic they were discussing, Brook would not have found out the man was a Sith, because she would not have seen the color of his light saber. The girl escaped with her life, as well as a gift from the Sith’s saber. Brook’s encounter with Jedi was not deadly, but she now always remembers to check for a light saber before pick pocketing. She still can be found various places, with enough credits to take a few trips via. shuttles, and her talent with the force is still unknown to both herself, and apparently the rest of the universe.
