I think that there should be the customer ability to post AT the store. If there is a shopkeeper on, then they can help them, and any other people. This will eliminate OOC posts asking "Can someone open up ___" and encourage more Role Playing.

...actually, that's a bad idea, cuz the shop keepers/owners need to be on in order for ANYONE to be able to post in the store. It's kinda a part of the rule that keeps stores like for example Dark Moon Company stores from being attacked when you're not on. If we allow your idea, someone with Class a(60 fooot radius) thermal detonators could enter under the pretense of buying another said grenade, then can blow the shop up and you can't do a thing about it cuz they're allowed to go in your store without you having to be on(and thus your security cannot apply to stop him cuz the attacker didn't know about it and you weren't on to use it). See tha problem? Even though the idea itself wasn't good, the intention behind it was. But the OOC posts draw shop owners/keepers to open the stores so the buyers who posted them can RP. Those OOC posts do thus encourage shop-set RPs.

There are ways around that.

Actually, there aren't any ways around the requirement of shop owners/keepers being on for RPs in a Player-owned shop to occur. If there was, people would already have been using that loophole to destroy shops they don't like or shops owned by people they don't like.
