It is all fine and dandy that you have production rates and building time set-up; however, now for the charter/sign up sheet....This could also decide conduct of council members....
Charter:
I,...., hereby sign my life away to the Council of Stores....j/k Just a suggestion. It is alright to say that you are on the Council but you need a permanent document saying that so that you can be reliable.
Rules of Conduct?
Thou shalt not kill a fellow Store Council Member, etc.

Joining: This can be simple. Mayhaps we can make a sign-in form like so:
Owner Name:
Shop Name:
Shop site(which must contain at least the location(s) of shop, who owns it, and the wares) URL:
Facilities:
Time at Jedi Sith under this character:
How the wares, facilities, and money to fund shop were acquired:
And I could make a forum below the SC suggestions forum in which the guys wanting to join can fill out this form so that the Shop Council can discuss whether or not the shop owner can join.
Rules of Conduct for Shop Council Members
Here are my suggestions:
1. A Shop Council Member and the employees of his/her store may not attack in any way another Shop Council member or his/her shop or employees.
2. The members of the Shop Council must allow suggestions of non-Council members to be stated, but they may point the suggesters to the Shop Council Suggestions forum of the ProBoard if the posters try to post as anonymous(such as ???) or ridiculously random(such as bookstryker vader12345) names.
3. If the suggestions mentioned in Rule 2 are legitimate and do not contradict existing forum/RP/ShopCouncil rules, and the poster is indeed an actual non-n00b character, then the Council may take these suggestions into consideration and discuss them.
4. If a member of the Shop Council finds a shop that has been pulled outta thin air by a newb/noob, then that Council member must try to work with the creator of the shop in question and try to reason with the person without flaming/swearing. If the person does not cooperate with the Shop Council after multiple attempts of kind reasoning by the Councilmember, then the Shop Council can nullify the shop until the maker in question admits wrong and agrees to actually acquire the funding/wares/etc fairly and realistically before opening shop.
There. 4 easy rules that the Council must follow, given these suggestions get adequate approval. Of course, if we need to fix some flaws we can. Feel free to give your opinions and ideas.

Sounds Pretty Dosh darn good to me. I would also like to see those rules/application form thingies on here for the new shop owners to fill out to see if they are being an un-realistic n00b

Yep...If one more member approves I'll make a forum below the SC Suggestions one in which the form will be located. It will be accesible to all but only those who register to this board can make a post to fill it out. That way, we'd have an account that I can add to the Council if that person gets approved.

I'm glad that we could settle this issue. It is very important that we have a charter.

Cool. That makes a majority vote, enough for the charter to become Official.
