From the depths of space, the legion poured out of the subspace portal that lead to the planet of Yvara. Here, though, was Aline. The Black Legion poured out, although a substantial amount of the force was still back at Yvara. Though now, the Super Star Destroyer Nemesis and four Star Destroyers made up the fleet at Aline. On the bridge, the Grand Admiral of the Black Legion finished over watching the communications to Aline. The code had been accepted; there was no reason why it shouldn’t be. Grand Admiral Borgir stood above his subordinates, his Cerean features sticking out against all other races, most of them human, or to be more precise, Alinian. The Grand Admiral stood up, and made his way to the front of the bridge, at the view ports. The one who stood there went by many names, and many ranks also, but the one he settled on (much to the Emperor’s satisfaction) was Lord Admiral of the Black Legion. Lord Admiral Abortion, or for short (which he preferred) Lord Abortion. Alternatively, he was Darth Apocalyptica, a Sith Assassin. But while the circumstances are as they are, Apocalyptica did not obey the law of the Sith. Not until true power was restored.
“Lord Admiral… the fleet has arrived and the remaining two Star Destroyers are on sentinel alert at Yvara, as you requested.”
Apocalyptica look out of the glass for a few moments more, then turned to the Grand Admiral. The 26 year old had long, black hair that went just beyond his shoulders. He had smooth, white skin, and a small black beard on his chin that stretched slightly to his neck. He was wearing completely black trousers, with metal plates covering his shins, laden with spikes. A black leather tunic covered his upper body, just showing part of his upper chest, and was long sleeved. Steel plates acted as shoulder pads, and a long black cape was fixed just under these plates. The one feature that stood out about him was his eyes. The centre of his eyes, instead of being normal colours such as brown or blue, are black, like his pupils, and are white around the outside as normal. Around his eyes, the skin was shaded black; darkened to give him a darker appearance. Clipped to his belt, were two black holsters, and in them, like guns, were two black-hilted lightsabers, that at the end, curved in a 90-degree arc. He wore black gloves.
[glow=red,2,300]”Good… are the two other Star Destroyers ready for their jump?”[/glow]
“Almost, sir. Their shield ships are waiting for them, although the armor that we have planted on them should be enough. But as you requested, the extra protection is there nonetheless.”
[glow=red,2,300]”Good. When they are ready, be sure to block all the communications and tracking systems in the area, and send them to the Thantus system."[/glow]
The Grand Admiral nodded.
“Yes sir. Should I have your shuttle prepared to go down to Aline?”
[glow=red,2,300]”Yes, I have things to discuss with the Emperor. Regarding the Sith, and our allegiance to them."[/glow]
The Cerean blinked.
“Sir?”
[glow=red,2,300]”I am not happy with the current leadership of the Sith Order. As long as she is Dark Lady, then I do not serve her or her faction. Well… the Sith Order is where my alliance lies, but I will never accept and order from her. Not until a strong Dark Lord is in place.”[/glow]
Borgir nodded in understanding, although Apocalyptica knew that Borgir didn’t truly understand half of what he meant. Nonetheless, the order had been given, and would be followed.
“I will now go and make sure all is as it should be, Lord Abortion”
Apocalyptica turned back to the glass in front of him as the two extra-armored Star Destroyers prepared for their jump. The next step in the War of the Empires would be initiated, and all was going as predicted, more or less. Redack was getting more and more wild, although he was sticking to the predicted plan, just about. Blackscale made an unpredicted maneuver however, but how that would affect the War, he did not know. Apocalyptica breathed in as he sensed the Grand Admiral walking back to update the report. Yes… all was going well.
[glow=blue,2,300]Meanwhile, less then a single light-second away…[/glow]
The Transport Frigate halted out of the vortex of lightspeed. At the bridge sat a member of the Jedi council, Auron Tribal. As he looked out upon the planet of Aline, and the… Armada that surrounded it. What were there planning? Why was such a big fleet here now? There were at least two Super Star Destroyers here. Just as he was watching the fleet, two Star Destroyers disappeared into hyperspace. Auron sat back in his seat and decided just how he was going to do this without being found out by Aline’s Dark Jedi. The 51 year old had changed his appearance from that of a Jedi, as the mission he was now on was top secret; only the Council, Skye Lanizen and his niece Yuna knew of it. He wore a black long-sleeved material tunic and black trousers, and over this, a large red coat laden with large buckles. Hidden in a secret, yet easily accessible pocket was a large black and silver-hilted lightsaber. Concealed deeper within his coat was a shorter lightsaber however. His hair was black and short, his skin moderately wrinkled, and he wore casual sunglasses with a thin silver frame. He wore big, black boots, and was taller then most humans his age. His overall appearance did not hint at him being a Jedi in the slightest.
Just as he was thinking, he was hailed over the communicator:
“Unidentified Transport Frigate, this is Super Star Destroyer Nemesis, Identify thyself.”
Thyself? It were odd that a formal fleet commander would talk like this, but alas, this must have been the Aline Black Legion, a more Gothic and olden form of humanoids. Auron reached for the codes that Skye Lanizen had given him, as she was a former member of this Empire, she knew the tricks on how to get in. In fact, the Emperor of this Empire was her former student, so Auron’s Grandchild in theory.
[glow=green,2,300]”This is Transport Frigate XXTL-Y7 Hauler. I have a shipment of Dowding Fuel Converters for Aline City Empire Garage AE.”[/glow]
“Please hold whilst we check your details”
Auron sat back for a minute or two, trying best as he could to hide his Force Senses before he got another communication from the Super Star Destroyer.
“What is thy entry code, Hauler?”
[glow=green,2,300]”228-J4k”[/glow]
There was a silence again, and finally the other spoke again, this time, cautiously.
“How old is this code, Hauler?”
Auron felt a sense of alarm, but buried it deep down.
[glow=green,2,300]”Moderately old, perhaps 10 years old or more? We have being using this every 6 months when we deliver these Converters. Who do I speak to, if you do not mind me asking?”[/glow]
“It is brave of you to ask such a thing,” The voice snapped “But all those within Aline space should know the name of the Aline Admirals and Aline Commanders. I am Grand Admiral Borgir… Now allow me to process your details further.”
The wait this time, was not as long:
“You are cleared to pass, Hauler. Go now,” The voice hissed before the com was shut down.
Auron swallowed and sighed deeply before accelerating towards the enemies base that hung silently in front of him, keeping a close eye on the scanners in order to make sure non of the Aline’s forces made a move. It was time to evolve the War of the Empires.
